Production Liaison Summary:

Responsibilities of Production Liaison Includes:
Key Functions:
Become a subject matter expert in Isernio’s premium sausage manufacturing processes. Work with other departments to facilitate successful business operations both internally and externally.
Learn and competently perform all production functions at Isernio’s Sausage.
Implement and lead Quality Control Program.
Assist with USDA and HACCP compliance.
Schedule production runs and shipping through MRP system.
Assist with process flow improvements within production and interdepartmentally
Duties And Responsibilities:
Contribute to the successful daily production operations of the company.
Maintain and improve process efficiency and quality standards adherence.
Recommend optimal production solutions and specify equipment needs.
Assist with the development and updating of all operations procedure documentation.
Work with management team to implement new or revise current products and procedures: packaging, ingredient research, and costing.
Perform light maintenance on equipment.
Forecast facility capabilities.

BASIC FUNCTIONS
The Company is seeking an organized, deadline oriented, self-starter to work in maintaining the efficient running of the production facility. Responsibilities include supervising maintenance functions within a high volume processing facility. This person will report to the maintenance manager. The qualified candidate must have at least 3-5 years experience as a maintenance supervisor within the food manufacturing or beverage industry. Must have well rounded skills to include preventative maintenance programs, supervising maintenance crew, and scheduling work. Experience in all facets of equipment repair, plumbing, hydraulics, electrical, refrigeration, and machining required. Must be able to work from blueprints and diagrams, and possess welding skills. Individual will be actively involved in the Company Safety program and the long term and short term goals of the department. Attendance is an essential function of this job.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Our successful candidate will enjoy the challenge of directing and developing the performance of others as well as controlling production activities. Familiarity with Industrial Engineering theories of inventory control, work-in-progress and bottleneck management to reduce cycle times will be key to success in this position. Equally important is feeling comfortable working cross functionally with engineers and other supervisors to optimize manufacturing performance and facilitate equipment problem resolution. What will I be doing?
Besides the regular engineer responsibilities like report writing, presentations, training others, communication and problem-solving, the following responsibilities will also fall within your scope:
Monitor and control daily production activities in one of 4 Fab areas.
Coordinate equipment and process activity on the equipment
Supervise and train direct labor in the manufacturing process
Apply industrial engineering theories of general inventory control, work-in-progress ("WIP"), bottleneck management to reduce cycle times
