Job Summary:Provides care and support to patients under the direction of the physician and/or mid-level provider.  Contributes to the planning and delivery of patient focused care.                                                                                                                          Essential Duties:Greet and prepare patients for the practitioner. Obtain and record vital signs and other appropriate information, such as height, weight, drug allergies, current medications and presenting problem.Assist with diagnostic tests and clinical procedures to appropriate level of training and established procedures.Administer ordered medications via oral, subcutaneous, intramuscular or intradermal routes.Manage patient flow ensuring enough time for patient and family education.Prepare, clean and sterilize instruments and maintain equipment; keep patient exam rooms clean and orderly; dispose of contaminated items according to the Exposure Control Plan; anticipate Practitioner's needs for medications, supplies and equipment and plan accordingly.Document procedures and interactions in patient's medical record.Provide patient mobility assistance, as necessary.Schedule patient appointments and perform other clerical duties as needed.Screens, communicates and responds to patient needs appropriately.Actively participate in continuing education, required meetings and participates in committees as requested.Uses Standard Precautions including personal protective equipment for anticipated contact with blood or other potentially infectious materials.Perform other duties as assigned.

Position location is home based and supports accounts in the Wester Region (WA or OR)

This position will be a member of the Pearson Institutional Solutions Team. The goal of this team is to create enterprise or institutional Pan Pearson offerings where institutional sales opportunities exist. The strategic objectives of this group will be to:

Position Pearson as an enterprise level solution provider for all content, instructional technology tools, and related services including custom publishing, course development/maintenance for online or on-ground modalities, assessment, tutoring, ebook solutions and CMS services.

Create new incremental revenue opportunities and secure /enhance existing revenue streams through sales models that remove used book attrition and establish long term agreements for content and technology purchases enhanced by the delivery of institutional services.

Establish and leverage relationships with senior level administrators and key faculty contacts involved in institutional decision making. The Institutional Solutions Team (IST) will work at the most senior levels of leadership within college campuses, advocating to and creating partnerships at the Chancellor, President, Dean and VP levels
Lead Pearson account stakeholders to take a more unified approach in leveraging a Pan Pearson combination of content and services at the enterprise level within an account. IST will create Pan Pearson strategic plans for account opportunities/activities (working with P&C and A&S and PCP personnel).

Coordinate all IST communication and activities (planning, presentations, RFP responses, promotional events, etc.) with P&C/A&S/PCP personnel and with the account contacts.

Coordinate, manage and gain approvals with IST Support (Operational and Executive) for IST recommendations/deliverables to client.

Facilitate account activity status meetings/communications with P&C and A&S and PCP sales personnel on consistent basis.

Principal administrative official responsible for the direction of all operations of a campus or an institution of higher education.
 

Provide overall leadership to the organization, its staff and programs in order to meet and/or exceed growth expectations set forth by the Corporation
Manage full P&L/budget for the school operations to meet or exceed budgeted revenue and net income while holding costs to within budgeted levels
Drive revenue by appropriately managing each of the following:  Enrollments, starts, show rates, re-enters, retention, cash collections, restaurant revenue (if applicable), bookstore revenue, contract training, expense control, etc.
Develop and implement strategic and operating plans in support of Company goals, industry opportunities and local needs
Establish standards and measures in every department and manage to those standards
Participate in and approve the ongoing forecasting of enrollments, starts, revenue, operational costs, cash collections, staffing, etc.
Analyze trends and results on a regular basis making appropriate changes to prevent or overcome issues/challenges
Work with faculty and staff to foster a student-centered learning environment
Provide leadership to ensure customer service excellence including standards, measures, training, and action plans to improve customer service
Foster partnerships with government, accrediting agencies, local communities in order to promote the school, its programs and outcomes
Ensure Company policies and practices are followed, and create an environment that fosters trust, provides training/development of employees, motivating them to excel and is professional, ethical and treats everyone with respect and dignity
